Polystyrene (PS for short) refers to the polymer synthesized by free radical polymerization and its chemical formula is (C8H8) N. It is a colorless transparent thermoplastic, with a glass conversion temperature of more than 100ºC, so it is often used to make a variety of disposable containers that need to withstand the temperature of boiling water, as well as disposable foam lunch boxes.
