Unsaturated polyester resin is a thermosetting resin that, when subjected to heat or initiator, can be cured into an insoluble polymer network polymer. However, this polymer has very low mechanical strength and cannot meet most of the requirements of using Chemicalbook, and can become a composite material when reinforced with glass fiber, commonly known as "glass reinforced plastic" (FRP). The mechanical strength and other properties of "FRP" have been greatly improved compared with resin casting bodies.
